Currently working as a nursery assistant at stepping stones academy Coogee ages 6months to 4 years. Im previously a design technology teacher,I have been a qualified teacher for 3 years and completed my PGCE with placement year. Current age range I work with are 11-16. My background is originally fashion, but decided to specialise in food. Taking my second cohort through their food and nutrition GCSE, so good knowledge on how to teach people how to cook. I have a year 7 form class who I see every morning for half an hour, they are aged 11-12 years old. Did my work placement in secondary school working with pre-school children. I have been around babies and young children quite a lot due to my cousins and friends now having children. I love keeping active and getting out the house, whether this is going to the gym or getting out in to nature. I enjoy reading daily, i have read 10 books so far this year and love a variety of different genres. I love socialising with my friends. I Really enjoy travelling, I have been to Lanzarote, Athens and Santorini so far this year and I want to see more of the world. I am Keen on fashion, sewing and arts and crafts with qualifications in fashion, art and design and marketing from a-level up to degree level. I can sew, knit, paint and draw (abstractly). Since becoming a food teacher, I have become more interested in cooking and would love to incoperate this with children I look after.
