Hello, fellow neighbours! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about my life with you all. I grew up with a brother and a sister, and as the oldest, I often joke that I was the "guinea pig" of the family, being the first child to navigate all of life's ups and downs. In 2021, I got married to a wonderful man, and I also have a wonderful daughter from a previous marriage who brings so much joy to my life. When it comes to hobbies, I’m all about the outdoors! I love camping, swimming, anything beach-related, and going on bush hikes. Some of my favorite camping spots include Yeppoon, where I snorkeled for the first time, and Lake Cootharaba, where I had a great time kayaking around the lake. Another memorable spot was Elliott Heads, where we stayed in an A-Van to see if we might want to buy one of our own. But more than anything, I cherish the quality time I get to spend with my family. We also have a special member of our family, a beautiful little cavoodle dog named Charlie. She’s more than just a pet—she’s a source of comfort and truly great for the soul. Since having my daughter, I decided to take a leap into a new career path, and I haven’t looked back since! I ventured into the field of early childhood education, and now, nearly 20 years later, I’m still passionate about working with children aged 1 to 5 years old. I hold a diploma in children's services, which has allowed me to share my knowledge and creative ideas with countless families and their little ones over the years. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, watching children grow and learn, and being a part of their early development has truly been a privilege. I’m excited to continue this journey and to bring my experience and passion to this wonderful community!
My career in childcare has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I have cherished the opportunity to educate children over the years and to build strong connections with their wonderful families. I believe that I have contributed significantly to the children's development and growth throughout this journey, and I take pride in having created inspiring learning environments where children can engage, explore, and thrive.
