Hey! My name is Nooshie, I am 20 years old and I love staying active and being outdoors. I'm a uni student doing psychology and criminology with aspirations to get my law degree and apply this to areas of social work, youth criminal justice and family services. I have lots of experience working with kids, both overseas and in Australia. I'm originally from Melbourne but lived in Canada for 6 years and I worked at many different summer camps there. Some of these included kid's learning/education camps, activity day camps, overnight camps and a bike camp where I also ran a parent toddler class. I have also recently started at the Children’s Hospital as a Volunteer within the oncology department, where we run activities in the games rooms, visits children and their families in the their rooms and all round try to make their day a bit brighter :) I'm a very energetic, enthusiastic and understanding person and this is why I think I make a great babysitter. I love the unique personality and interests of each child and I believe I'm very good at adjusting to each family's, as well as child's, needs as a babysitter. Im a very bubbly, laid back person who is able to balance this well with responsibility and organization. I am very excited to hear from you :)
I’m a very open minded person, who loves to learn about the world, its people and their experiences. This is reflected in my broad range of both work and life experiences, which have spanned many different places all over the world. While living in Canada, I was able to travel to places and be a part of so many amazing unique experiences, such as volunteer trips to Costa Rica and sleeping in igloos on school camp, which have all immensely shaped me into someone who is constantly eager to learn, listen and engage with all that I can. My experience working with kids is also vast and diverse, caring for children in Costa Rica, Canada and Australia. This includes volunteering, working at kid's learning/education camps, activity day camps, babysitting, OSHC, overnight camps, bike camps, and newly, at the Royal Children’s Hospital. I always have a focus on doing fun, stimulating activities that will not only engage kids, but also work to build a great trusting relationship between us :)
