Special Needs Experience
I have worked with many children with different needs such as ADHD and Autism and attended courses on their needs in a school setting.
Childcare Experience
I love being with babies and toddlers but most of my experience is in a school setting with ages 6-12 years old. I have also tutored high school students. I like having fun and building a relationship with children as find their sense of fun and curiosity infectious.
Tutoring Experience
I enjoy working with students 1-2-1 as this allows for a deep sense of trust and understanding to be developed. This is essential to learning especially when a student has previously struggled with a concept or subject. I love helping develop their confidence as this is also key to success. I have worked in education for 12 years but last year started tutoring for a well known company and really enjoyed working in small groups but would prefer to work 1-2-1 with children.
