Hi, my name is Kate, I'm a 26-year-old experienced child carer with a deep commitment to children's wellbeing, currently working in Marketing at the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF). My journey with childcare began as a teenager, babysitting in my coastal hometown of Wombarra, and has evolved through various international experiences being an Au Pair in Rome and teaching English to children in Thailand, Turkey, and India. With a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Psychological Science, including studies in developmental psychology, I bring a thoughtful and educated approach to childcare. My work with UNICEF reflects my dedication to having a positive impact on children as I believe the only way we can make the world a better place is to improve and protect the lives of all children. I've been fortunate to travel to over 25 countries across Europe, USA, Middle East, Asia, and Africa, which has enriched my understanding of different cultures and ways of life. Based in North Bondi, I'm seeking babysitting opportunities to support my love of travel while providing reliable, responsible care for your children. About me: In my free time, I enjoy staying active through running, surfing, pilates, and yoga. I'm passionate about personal growth through practices like breathwork and am always eager to learn new things through reading and self-development. I believe in bringing a positive, energetic approach to childcare while maintaining a calm and nurturing environment. Current Working with Children Check (valid until March 2028)
I have had experience looking after children as a babysitter, Au Pair and teaching English. The majority of my experience has been with children over 4.
I don’t have formal tutoring experience. However, I can support with any primary school homework and received top grades for English in High School if support is required there.
