Hello and welcome to my page caregivers! A little about me ~ I grew up in a household with an older brother and younger sister, mum and dad and lots of different animals over the years. I have dipped my toes in a number of settings over the past decade as I value variety. Through my line of work as a gymnastics coach and teacher’s aide, 6 months experience as an Occupational Therapist in a private paediatric setting and 1 year experience as an independent disability support worker, I have experience with children of different abilities. I also have experience with pet sitting, and house sitting. I am passionate about facilitating the growth of children, however that may look for each individual. I enjoy the outdoors, movement and exercise and creative pursuits such as art and writing.
Worked with primary and secondary aged students as a teachers aide at a school for children with disabilities.
I am nearly 25 and have been working with children since I was 14 and 9 months in different casual roles as a party host, gymnastics coach and teachers aide. I am most comfortable and confident working with children 8 years and older however would not mind working with younger children. I am passionate about working with children and watching them thrive in everyday activities, including learning through play! I am a qualified new graduate OT and am excited to soon be working in a paediatric setting.
I’m passionate about Personal Development and Health, Sport, Art and English. I have tutored in the past, have 2 years experience as a Teacher’s Aide and have obtained a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
