Hi families, I have studied a diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care for two years. I have 6 years experience working in the sector - daycares & childminding. I’ve worked with all ages up to 12. I have worked as a Lead Educator running rooms for 3.5 years and I have always had great relationships with families as I’m always honest, loyal and transparent. Special Needs Experience
I have a module in my diploma of Special Needs, with experience working in a Pre-School class for children with Autism. I have very strong knowledge of first aid and cpr, although my first aid cert is currently out of date.
Childcare Experience
I have worked in the early years industry for 6 years. I absolutely love my job and I have recently relocated to Cairns so I am looking for some casual extra work. I have worked in baby rooms, toddler rooms, pre-school rooms and afterschool. My most recent work has been as a Room Leader in toddler rooms. I have a passion for assisting children with learning and growing. They learn and grow so quickly from a young age and observing this is amazing. From their fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, language, emotional and social development, it is amazing to be apart of it.
