Special Needs Experience
I have a BA degree in Social Care Work. I have worked alongside a family while living in Canada for 2 years. Both kids had ASD of which one was non verbal. I used my skills and knowledge to help the needs of the children by using PECs and touch chat to help with communication. Helped stimulate the children when over stimulated by making them feel comfortable. Followed lesson plans from SLPs and OTs.
Childcare Experience
I have been looking after children since I have been 14 years old. I have experience in looking after new borns, toddlers and kids up to 8 years of age. I have provided help in potty training and changing diapers. I have two years experience caring for two kids with ASD while living in Canada.
