I work as an early childhood teacher with three years of experience. Growing up in a family of three, I spent a lot of time with my younger relatives, whom I often babysat. I’m kind, compassionate, and caring, and I also consider myself patient, enthusiastic, and creative. I love working with children and helping them learn and develop, fostering their curiosity and supporting their growth in a nurturing environment.
In my role as an early childhood teacher, I have had the opportunity to work with children with additional needs, which has been both rewarding and enriching. I focus on creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. I adapt activities to meet their individual needs, using various teaching strategies and resources to ensure they can participate fully. This might include using visual aids, hands-on activities, or technology to engage them and enhance their learning experience.
I have been working with children since I was 16 years old , between babysitting and early years learning. I have mostly worked with children aged 3-5 years and love working with that age group. Some things I find rewarding with working in childcare are, seeing children develop new skills and reach milestones is incredibly fulfilling. Forming strong bonds with children and their families creates a supporting community. Encouraging imaginative play and creative expression in young children is a joy. I enjoy the laughter, curiosity, and energy that young children bring every day.
