Ava - 19yrs

Hi Parents, I’m Ava, i’m 18 and I have a lot of experience taking care of children, I have a younger sister who is 15 and 4 younger cousins under 12 and have always been the oldest child in my extended family so I have a lot of prior experience and knowledge. I also took Health and Human Development class at school where I have learnt First Aid, Early childhood development and have had some practice looking after primary school and kindergarten aged children. I am also good with pets and am able to confidently take care of them as well. I come prepared with activities and books and toys that are age appropriate for the specific child and I have a fun and caring personality and understand that all children are different and need more or less time to warm up to a new person but I will always acknowledge that. I am open to look after any ages but have most experience with children aged 2 and above. I have my working with children’s check, police check and am certified in first aid for children.
